Schrödinger License Manager Instructions

Schrödinger License Manager (SLM) is a licensing infrastructure that manages Schrödinger software licenses. Follow the instructions below for your particular set up. To learn more about licenses, dependencies of particular applications, and token usage, see License Requirements and Token Usage.

NOTES

Multiple licenses can be installed on the server, including those with future start dates. These will not interfere with existing licenses. SLM will recognize the new license, but tokens will not be available for checkout until the start date.

Periodically remove old or expired license files from the license directory to keep the setup clean and help avoid potential conflicts. Find licenses files: /opt/schrodinger/licserver/licenses/ on Linux / Mac or C:\ProgramData\Schrodinger\licserver\licenses\ on Windows.
